I was one of the wedding planners who fell in love with wedding planning when I started planning my own. By the time everything was cleaned up, I knew that being a wedding an event planner was where I needed to be. I was always a budget friendly and DIY bride. We built our wedding venue from the ground up on my grandparents property, we built our own arbor and refinished antiques that had collected dust over the years. I grew many of our florals and our family put on the fireworks at the end of the night. The best part was the nostalgia of getting married in our favorite place to visit, a place that meant so much to not only us but our families as well.
